Wow! What an amazing first week of school! I absolutely loved getting to know all the students and can't wait to see how they grow over the coming year.
We've started our second week and nightly homework is on the horizon! 8/7/17 Math - pages 15-16 and pages 19-20 in the math textbook. Students may bring home the entire math book to complete the assignment or they were given the option of tearing out the pages and using their math journals to complete the assignment. Reading - students should be reading a minimum of 30 minutes a night and should make an effort to read on their current lexile level. We have taken our Reading Inventory test for the beginning of the quarter and students are aware of their individual levels. Science - students should review lesson one (pages 60-69 in textbook) and make sure they have the three vocabulary words in their science journals. |
