Math – We are starting a review of fractions. Login to Freckle and chose the fraction assignment. This is self-leveling and will start easy and get progressively harder. Do not spend all day on this 😉 Remember our ‘rules’ when working with fractions – when adding and subtracting you need to find a common denominator. When multiplying and dividing you do not. When working with mixed numbers you will need to turn them into improper fractions before multiplying. Remember when dividing, you need to turn the whole number into a fraction. Example 4 ÷ 1/3 is 4/1 ÷ 1/3. This equation becomes 4/1 x 3/1 = 12/1 or 12. https://student.freckle.com/#assignments/adaptive/283588641/session Social Studies – We will continue looking at the Cold War. Preview and read the article in Freckle and complete the questions to the right of the article. https://student.freckle.com/#social-studies/assignments/reading/245423 Reading -complete the reading quiz and email me your answer results. [email protected] https://www.ereadingworksheets.com/reading-comprehension-worksheets/garbage/ Remember, many of the failing scores I’m seeing are directly related to the time and effort you are giving. I’m seeing that many of you spent less than five minutes reading the article and answering all ten questions, including the constructed responses. Science – Replay the video as a review and click on the paper quiz at the bottom and record your answers in your science journal. www.generationgenius.com/?share=8B943 We will Zoom next Tuesday at 10:00am
I will send you a link 5-10 minutes before to allow you to login! I can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces - I miss you all terribly! Happy Friday Everyone!! I hope you have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!
